Washoe County. A post, express and telegraph office, and is the county seat. Situated on the S. P. Co.'s R. R. (Truckee Division) 35 miles from Truckee and 244 miles from San Francisco. Freight direct. It is situated in quite a fertile valley, from which it derives much of its support. Population, 1,302.
